CIVILIAN ACTIVE SHOOTER
RESPONSE TRAINING
In the event of an active shooter, it is imperative that all those involved act quickly. Until the police arrive, it is up to you to stay safe. To better equip our community with the tools needed to properly react in an emergency, the Webster Police Department will be hosting an ALICE Civilian Active Shooter Response Training on July 17 and 18.
ALICE Training Institute is the leading training solution that increases an individual’s odds of surviving during a violent intruder event. ALICE empowers people to participate in their own survival using proactive response strategies.
Attendees will walk away with an ALICE Certified Instructor Certification- valid for two years. They will receive a Safe Scenario Guide, Training Presentation, Instructor Certificate, and implementation support from a dedicated ALICE representative and Client Success Team.
You can register for the course by visiting the City of Webster website and finding the event on the City Calendar. The training takes place from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17 and Wednesday, July 18 at the Webster Police Department, 217 Pennsylvania Ave.
