City of Webster Salary & Benefits Package

Salary: Telecommunications-

Effective January 20, 2020

All newly hired TCOs will receive a 2.5% salary increase after a 6-month probationary period 

Certified TCO’s with prior experience are eligible to start at a salary of up to $40,551 (DOE)

Benefits Package:

  • Paid holidays per year.
  • 24 hours of Personal Holiday time per year.
    • Starting the 20th year, receive an additional 16 hours/year.

Vacation:

  •  0 to 4 years="80" hours
  •  5 to 9 years="120" hours
  •  10 + years="160" hours
  • Employees may carry a balance of twice their yearly vacation accrual year to year.

Sick Time:

  • 96 hours per year

Sick Pool:

  • Eligible to participate after 6 months from date of hire.  Must have 48 hours of accrued sick/vacation leave on the books and contribute at least 8 hours to the pool annually to be eligible to receive sick leave hours from the pool.

Retirement:

  • TMRS ( 20 year retirement 2 for 1 matching)

Certification Pay-Telecommunications:

  • Intermediate Certification- $100.00 per month
  • Advanced Certification- $150.00 per month
  • Master Certificate- $200.00 per month

Longevity Pay:

  • $8.50 per month is paid each November

Tuition Reimbursement:

  • 100% for a grade of "C" or better
  • 50% for books

Equipment: 

  • All job related equipment except the handgun, is provided to each Officer by the City of Webster

Insurance: 

  • Medical coverage is through Blue Cross BlueShield
  • Dental is through Guardian
  • Vision is through Humana
  • And the employee has the option for supplemental insurance policies on themselves and family members

Bilingual Premium Pay Program:

  • Level 1-$75.00 per month
  • Level 2-$100.00 per month
