Mission Statement

To administer and provide fiscally responsible control and guidance for all financial matters of the City while complying with all applicable City, State and Federal mandates. The Finance Division is responsible for the accounting of all assets of the City and the administration of taxes collected by the City. Accountability of the assets is performed through the following functions: purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, utility billing and collection (utility rates), and fixed asset records program. Development of the annual financial reports and the City’s annual budget is also a primary responsibility of this division. All investments are administered by this department as well as the financing of debt instruments issued by the City.
